We've moved in for almost three weeks... we did not have any internet connection, so I could not write before today. But I'll catch up, I swear! Let's start from the beginning...
Thursday September 23rd: Too many people
Today, everybody is at the house. All different vendors are finalizing the last open items so that we can move in tomorrow.
Jean-Yves, our plumber and heating specialist, first. He's been smarter than everyone and went straight to the attic. We did not see him until the evening.
The electrician who places the switches and sets up the lighting system. Not easy when everybody touch the switches.
The kitchen vendors who assemble the various cabinets. This should be a full dedicated post.
The stairs guys who have some difficulties installing it. We took measurements when the floor was not poured yet and apparently, it was not 100% accurate.
And we are there as well... especially me, almost having a nervous breakdown because of the dust or the small stones that anyone brings onto the concrete flooring. Need to take a break... so we take the occasion to go to the city hall and make the admin paperwork, buy the mandatory trash container and have somebody explain us the sorting system (quite different and more complex than in Brussels), subscribe to an Internet plan, buy some groceries for the following day, etc.
