J+47: Un garage digne de ce nom

Bonne surprise en arrivant sur le chantier ce matin... les ouvriers sont déjà au travail et les hourdis sont là. Donc finalement, il n'y a qu'un jour de retard (mais toujours plusieurs semaines d'avance sur le planning initial). Et pour ce qui concerne mes inquiétudes au niveau de la fenêtre du bureau et de celle de la cuisine, il y a une explication! Au niveau du bureau, étant donné qu'il s'agit d'un linteau inversé, il sera coulé après les hourdis, pour solidifier toute la structure en une pièce. Et pour la cuisine, il n'y a pas de blocs à mettre au-dessus de la fenêtre, ce sera directement la charpente du toit plat... donc ce sera fait en même temps que le grand toit. Je vais encore devoir attendre un peu avant de voir à quoi va ressembler la cuisine.

Les premiers hourdis à être posés sont ceux du garage. Comme d'habitude, impressionnant, en moins d'un quart d'heure, le garage a un toit. On pourrait presqu'y rentrer la voiture s'il n'y avait pas encore une tranchée au milieu de l'allée.

Pour la suite, le béton du 1er étage devrait être coulé ce vendredi si le temps le permet et dès la semaine prochaine, on attaque les murs du 1er. Je sens que je vais encore être impressionnée. ;o)

Bref, tout roule, je suis zen et je vais prier le Dieu Météo pour qu'il ne pleuve plus cette semaine.

Nice surprise when we arrived this morning... the workers were already working and the ceiling is there. So, there is only 1 day of delay (but we are still several weeks ahead of the initial plan). And for my concerns regarding the office and the kitchen windows, there is an explanation! For the office, the top of the window will be poured after the ceiling, in order to assemble it with the ceiling and to reinforce the entire structure. And for the kitchen, there is no block coming on top of the window, it is directly the roof structure... so they will do it at the same time as the bigger roof. I will have to wait a little bit longer before I can see what my kitchen will look like.

The first ceiling parts to be placed are in the garage. As usual, we are impressed, in less than 15 minutes, the garage has a ceiling. We could almost enter with the car if the path was not a big hole anymore.

In the coming days, they are supposed to pour the 1st level floor on Friday if it is not raining and as from next week, we start the 1st level walls. I can already see that I'll be impressed again. ;o)

In conclusion, everything is under control, I'm feeling zen and I'll pray the Weather God for him to stop the rain this week.
