J+4: Première réunion de chantier

4 jours après le premier coup de pelle, voici la première réunion de chantier. 8h00 sur le terrain... mais quelle mouche nous a piqué quand on a accepté ça?
L'ingénieur a inspecté les tranchées... verdict: le terrain a l'air très bon mais on conserve quand même les fondations renforcées par prudence.
Le terrassement est presque fini, il reste un mur. Et le fait d'avoir évacué les terres chez un particulier hier (11 camions quand même!) nous a permis d'économiser environ 1.000 EUR par rapport à une mise en décharge. C'est toujours ça de pris! :o)
A venir pour le reste de la semaine: finalisation du terrassement et remblai avec 30 cm de sable stabilisé partout.

4 days after the ground breaking, we held the first site meeting. 8.00 AM on the construction site... what was in our minds when we agreed on that?
The engineer looked at the holes... Conclusion: the ground seems to be very good but we still keep the reinforced foundations to be prudent.
The excavation is almost done, there is one wall remaining. And because we gave our dirt to an individual yesterday (11 trucks!), we saved about 1.000 EUR compared to the case where we would have sent them to a dump. :o)
Agenda for the rest of the week: Excavation finalisation and filling all the holes with 1 foot of sand.
