Les portes et les tablettes de fenêtre pour commencer. Le menuisier a débarqué hier et a tout fait en un jour... incroyable! Maintenant, on se sent enfin dans une maison. C'est fou, mais c'est vraiment agréable de pouvoir aller faire pipi avec une porte fermée. :o) Plus sérieusement, on ne se rendait pas compte de l'effet que ça ferait. Ca change vraiment complètement l'aspect de l'intérieur. Et on est assez contents du résultat. Esthétiquement tout comme thermiquement. Maintenant, la température se maintient à 19.5°C, malgré la neige et le vent dehors... la semaine dernière, on ne dépassait pas 18.5°C. Ca aussi, ça change beaucoup!
De notre côté, on n'a pas chômé non plus. On a posé le parquet et déjà fini une chambre. Il restera juste une petite découpe pour la dernière rangée et la pose des plinthes.

The doors and the window tablets to begin. The carpenter showed up yesterday and managed to complete all the work within one day... unbelievable! Now, we really feel at home. It's ridiculous but so nice to be able to pee with a door shut. :o) More seriously, we did not imagine the impact it could have. It really changes the inside atmosphere. We are very satisfied with the result. Both on the looking side and on the temperature side. Now, the temperature stays at 67°F, despite the wind and the snow outside... last week, we could not go above 65°F. That as well changes everything!
From our side now, we also worked well. We placed the wooden floor and completed an entire room. Only the last row (that we will need to adjust a bit) and the plinth are left.
