Menuiserie et parquet

L'agenda se bouscule...
Le menuisier a confirmé qu'il placerait les portes et les tablettes de fenêtre ce 20 décembre. Il espère tout finir en une journée, ou deux au maximum. Bientôt, on aura une maison bien chaude, youpie!
On est également allé chercher notre parquet. Waow... on n'imaginait pas le volume que ça représentait, ni le poids! Les deux voitures étaient remplies. On a tout chargé et déchargé ce soir mais pas plus loin que le garage. Il restera à tout monter à l'étage. Placement prévu dans 2 semaines... on a pris congé entre Noël et Nouvel An et ce sera notre occupation principale!
D'ici là, je vais essayer de peindre un maximum de plafond... ça fera toujours ça en moins et puis, s'il y a quelques gouttes qui tombent, ce sera sans conséquence. :o)

The calendar is busy...
The carpenter confirmed he will place the doors on December 20th. He hopes to finish everything within a day, two max. Soon, we will have a warm house. Yipie!
We also picked up the wooden floor. Wow... we did not realize the volume and the weight it represents! Both cars were full. We loaded and unloaded everything tonight but we did not go further than the garage. We will still have to move it one level up. Installation planned in two weeks... we took some vacation between Christmas and New Year and that will be our main goal!
Until there, I'll try to paint as much as I can the ceilings... this way, if a couple of drops fall, there will not be any consequence. :o)
