J+89: Un temps à ne pas mettre un ours polaire dehors

Gla gla gla! Cette semaine, les températures ne dépassent pas zéro degrés... Aller de ma porte à ma voiture, c'est déjà trop pour moi, je préfèrerais bien rester au chaud sous ma couette.
Pareil pour les ouvriers... s'il gèle la journée, impossible de faire le mortier et de monter les murs. Et vu les prévisions pour le reste de la semaine, nous n'attendons plus de changement avant les congés. Ce qui est ennuyant dans l'histoire, c'est que la dernière pointe n'est toujours pas finie et qu'ils ne sauront donc pas mettre la poutre de la charpente. Ils étaient supposés poser celle-ci avant les congés, histoire de solidariser les pointes et qu'elles ne s'écroulent pas en cas de grand vent. Enfin... dernière réunion de chantier avant les congé ce vendredi, on verra bien ce que l'architecte dira.

Brrr! This week, the temperature is lower than 32°F... To go from my front door to my car, it's already too much for me, I would prefer to stay under my blanket.
Same for the workers... If it is freezing during the day time, they cannot make the mortar and build the walls. And with the forecasts not showing any improvement for this week, we are not expecting any progress anymore before the holidays. What is really annoying is that we are still missing that last roof wall and therefore, they cannot put the main girder for the roof frame. The purpose of it was to strengthen the walls so they would not fall in case of strong wind. Well... the last construction site meeting will be on Friday, and we'll see what the architect will say.
