J'adore mon architecte!

Je voyais déjà le scénario catastrophe... chantier qui commence mi-octobre, une construction de 14 mois, ça voulait dire déménagement en décembre 2010. Un petit coup de fil à l'architecte plus tard, tout va bien. D'après lui, si on ne veut pas une maison finie (càd avec parquets, peintures, etc), on peut envisager de déménager en juillet/août. J'ai pas osé lui dire que de toute façon, c'est pas comme si on avait le choix vu qu'on n'a plus de sous pour les finitions. lol

Sinon, pour le reste, devoirs de vacances pour tout le monde... De notre côté, on doit regarder pour les châssis et le béton lissé. Au fait, vous saviez qu'il faut 6 à 8 semaines pour avoir les châssis? Pfff... et pendant tout ce temps notre chantier sera à l'arrêt.
Et de son côté, l'architecte se renseigne pour le radon et le géomètre.

Juillet/août... J'en reviens toujours pas... Et je me rends compte que je suis en train de sourire bêtement à mon bureau et que mes collègues doivent vraiment me prendre pour une folle. :o)

I like my architect!
I was already thinking about the worst case scenario... construction starting mid-October, building during 14 months, so it means moving in December 2010. One call to the architect later, everything is fine. According to him, if we do not want a house 100% complete (i.e. with wooden floors, painted, etc), we can think of moving in July/August. I did not dare to tell him that we do not really have a choice as we do not have money enough to do that kind of stuffs. lol

For the rest, homework for everybody... We have to decide about the windows and the concrete floor. By the way, did you know they need 6 to 8 weeks to make the windows? Pfff... and during that time, our construction will be stopped.
And the architect will check on the radon and the geometrician.

July/August... I still cannot imagine... And I realize I'm smiling stupidly at my desk and that my colleagues must really think I'm crazy. :o)
