N'ayant pas de cave et seulement un petit garage, il nous faut un abri pour ranger tous les outils ainsi que les meubles de jardin. On les a remonté au grenier pour cet hiver, mais hors de question de le refaire!
Il faut vraiment qu'on se bouge si on veut installer un abri de jardin cette année...
On était d'abord partis sur l'idée d'installer un abri de taille honorable (3x4m + rangement pour les bûches)... mais ça fait quand même un sacré trou à creuser, sans parler de la quantité de béton à y déverser. De plus, étant toujours condamnée à ne rien faire, et le dos de Vincent étant ce qu'il est, la tâche nous paraissait encore plus énorme. Décourageant avant même de commencer.
On a donc changé nos plans et on se rabat sur un abri de taille un peu plus modeste (3x3.5m) mais qui devrait tout de même être suffisant. Livraison et installation possible dès le 14 juin.
Par contre, il reste le problème de la dalle... 15 cm d'épaisseur minimum. Ca fait quand même presque 2m³ de béton à couler. Le tout, au fond du jardin... ça n'a l'air de rien mais ça fait quand même 50m depuis le trottoir. Et je suis sure qu'en brouette, ça parait encore plus long. Y a-t-il des courageux dans le public?
As we don't have any basement and only a small garage, we need an extra storage for the garden tools and furniture's. Last year, we stored them 2 floors up in the attic, but no way I'm doing it again! So, we should better hurry if we want an extra storage this year...

Additionally, as I still cannot do much in my condition, and Vincent's back being what it is, we were feeling the task was even harder than for other people. Discouraged before we even started.
So, we changed our mind and we are going for a smaller storage (10 x 12 ft) but it should still be enough. Delivery and installation as from June 14.
But we still have the issue of the ground...0.5 ft high minimum. That still represents 70 ft³ of concrete to make. All of that at the very end of the backyard... it does not seem so much but it is 55 yards from the street. And I'm sure that it seems to be longer with a wheelbarrow. Any volunteer in the room?
